Child Protection and Safeguarding

We believe every child should be known, loved, and protected. Safeguarding children is central to our mission and reflects our commitment to uphold their dignity and well-being.

Children living in poverty are often more vulnerable to abuse, neglect, exploitation, and harmful practices. We work closely with church partners, caregivers, and communities to create safe and nurturing environments where children can grow without fear.

Our approach includes implementing and strengthening child protection policies, training staff and volunteers, and raising awareness among caregivers and communities about children’s rights and protection.

We also establish safe reporting and response mechanisms to ensure that any concerns are handled promptly, responsibly, and in the best interest of the child.

Our goal is not only to protect children from harm, but also to foster environments where they feel valued, heard, and empowered.
